From Sai Gon to Phu Quoc

I have a nonsense confession: This is my first time flying with a turbojet in a foreign country.

Sai Gon, August 30th 2011

In spite of the early flight I had to catch, I just could not resist the temptation to make a couple of shots of Sai Gon at a very early quiet morning from my room balcony on the 12th floor of Palace Hotel Sai Gon.

I have a nonsense confession: This is my first time flying with a turbojet in a foreign country. My first turbojet ride itself was a year ago from Denpasar to Mataram. Ah... I was excited. Shooting with Nokia N86's camera, I could get the propellers visible without having to adjust the speed.

The view from the window was breathtaking actually. The next 3 photos were shot using my EOS. However, I just don't understand why, the color tone of the pictures taken by my camera didn't turn as it really looked like. The color tone was rather far from reality. I can't figure out the reason why. Ah.

I tell you, the actual view was much more awesome than this.

The wide and long seashore along Phu Quoc Island was fantastic. The seashore was actually not brownish like in this picture. I just couldn't get it right.
