Phu Quoc, September 1st 2011

Good morning, Phu Quoc! The sky was bright and blue. Once again, I walked to Cafe Vespa for breakfast.

Cafe Vespa is tugged under A74 Hotel. "Why 'Vespa'?" I asked.

"Because we are a fan of Vespa," I was told.

Chicken Curry with Tofu. Reason? Because I wanted to know what Vietnamese curry was like. So how was it like? More like Indonesian curry than Japanese curry.

This, Cafe Latte, was a bit of disappointment. Not because of the taste, but because of the appearance.

When I looked at the menu, the photo showed a picture of Vespa curved with cream on top of the coffee. I thought I would be able to make a unique photograph with it. But when my Cafe Latte came, the top of it was just plain white as snow like this! Ah. Where's the Vespa? That's only on the menu, the waiter answered.

If I knew, I would have just ordered the original Vietnamese coffee which is 15,000 VND cheaper. This one was 35,000 VND.

The thought of not having breakfast here again tomorrow morning made me kind of sad. However, I don't think I would have felt the same if the motorbike was a Honda :P
