Damnoen Saduak, August 28th 2011
After lunch I rented a bike for an hour, 30 baht, and went off to explore the vicinity. For the sake of convenience, I left my SLR camera at the resort and relied wholly on my Nokia N86 to do the documentary.
The bike I rented from Maikaew Damnoen Resort for 30 THB per hour.
Surprisingly, the bikes seemed to be a donation from Japan for they had labels written: "Saitama Perfecture Police". Wow! I'm riding on a Japanese policeman's bicycle!

Cycling all through the way...
coconut trees here and there... just like my country.
Another market! I parked my bike to find out what's inside there.
Wow! It's another floating market! It must be very busy here in the morning.
Now I know how the photos in the postcards I frequently see are taken. This morning when I took the boat cruise along the market, I was wondering how did the photographers take a bird view angle. Did they stand on the boat and raised their camera high above their heads? Did they get special permission to step on someone's roof? Ah... it turned out that there's a specially designed deck where visitors can view the market from above. No need to climb a roof or raise your camera up into the air.
I wonder, is there a difference between the vendors wearing red and wearing blue?
