Maikaew Damnoen Resort was a lovely place with friendly staffs. It was a pity I had to catch an early flight the next morning and thus decided to stay overnight in Bangkok instead. Maikaew Resort is where I took the boat tour to the floating market, had a yummy lunch, rented a bike, and... had foot massage...
This "hut" was in front of the resort. I don't know what does it function as. A security post maybe? There was nobody there. Anyway, I laughed at myself when I saw this. Except for Wi-Fi, none of the words I understand.

A midst of the hot weather, the vast greenery made it cozy...
... and cool by a pond in the middle of the resort.
I asked whether I could take a look into the room, just in case I would be coming back again and stay overnight there. The staff cheerfully granted my wish.
And... auwww! The animal doll made of sheets of towel at the end of each bed really caught my eyes. This one is the rabbit.
But this one is my favorite. Two elephants kissing each other with their trunk. Auwww...!! This is the cutest thing I've seen in a hotel all my life!!
After spraining my right ankle in the train, I was already able to walk and even cycle with almost no problem. There was only a little pain on my right ankle and looked swollen but just a bit. However, I thought if I had a foot massage, my feet would be much better and get more energized for the next more than half journey to go.
I was totally wrong. Getting this foot massage turned to be my biggest worst mistake during all the trip. I got off the bed limping and within an hour my right foot looked like the foot of the country's animal icon: the elephant.
The next morning I got up with both feet aching and even my waist felt uncomfortable. I've sprained my ankle several times before but have never suffered like this. Even up to this moment, 3 weeks 2 days afterwards, my right feet hasn't recover completely yet.
About a week later, when I was in Phnom Penh, I browsed the internet about sprained ankle. My mistake was confirmed. I shouldn't have a foot massage. I started to follow the RICE Method except for the "R" part, because that's impossible. The swell on my foot amazingly started to reduced. Lucky still, I use to bring a hot cold pack when I travel, so I could immediately apply the RICE Method on my "elephant foot".
You can browse the internet about RICE Method. There's plenty of information on that e.g. this.
